The life and work of Filipina type designer, Alli Cunanan. This book uses elements of Alli's work to portray her style and personality through visuals.
In Alli’s most famous typefaces, “Ladybird Light” and “Roma Serif”, she uses a diamond shape in the center of her “O” s, dotting her “j” s and “i” s, and as her periods, commas, quotations, etc. I decided to take this shape and repeat it throughout the book, using it to break up content and provide visual interest. The color choices were also inspired by how Alli promotes and presents her work, as she often uses bright yellows and pinks.
The book is currently on display in Towson University's Library.
